East End Opera is a not for profit opera company committed to creating music through collaborative initiatives for professional musicians and the community of East London.
Surrounded by the vibrant, exciting boroughs of Newham, Tower Hamlets and Hackney we offer unique opportunities for everyone to discover their potential either as a performer or as an audience member. With initiatives like the Newham Vocal Scholarships, Opening up Opera and the Opera Club, East End Opera is already forging strong links with the local communities.

CONGRATULATIONS...
...to Jesse Ayertey and Spencer Kennedy! Both young men have participated in the Newham Vocal Pathways and Our Voice One Voice projects and have been offered places at two of Britains top drama training institutions. Jesse will take a place on the three year BA Degree in Acting at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in September 2010 and Spencer has just completed the Royal Acadamy of Dramatic Art’s one year Foundation in Acting course. Jesse and Spencer would like to express their thanks to Shirley Keane of EEO and Ray Downing of Theatre Venture for their support, help and direction during the audition process. |
